Saturday morning 9/19 dawned chilly, but sunny. Club members came from throughout Chicagoland and the Northwest Suburbs to converge in Sugar Grove, IL, and enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Sugar Grove Cafe. A short ride across the street afterwards, and we were at the Air Classics Museum for our private tour. By 11:30a a.m., it was back on the bikes for those continuing on to lunch by the Mississippi River, and finally camping or B&B'ing it in Galena, Illinois.
Sunday saw more riding throughout the Wisconsin Driftless Area (oh, those twisties!).
It was great to meet new members in person, having only seen some through our Monthly Zoom meetings.
Seems like everyone was thinking the 2021 event would be great if it was a 3 day weekend, and we went back to Galena for more camping/BNB'ing, and riding those scenic roads.
