Kicking tires, changing tires, plugging 'em...oh my!
Thirty riders and about just as many bikes showed up for our Club Tech Day May 22. Thanks for the great presentations on plugging tires, adding air pressure tire monitoring, tools to use, and more. A lot of hard work went into changing tires, oil and brake fluid.
The weather was amazing, and the burgers and brats just enough to get everyone a quick snack before getting back to schmoozing around vintage and new Beemers. One father/daughter duo also used the time to go "bike shopping," seeing all the models and varieties of BMWs in our club, from a BMW scooter to the R1800 cruiser. And yes, there was that wayward Triumph Tiger GT 900 low version, owned by one of our shortest club members. Luckily she rides pillion as well on BMWs.
It was fun reconnecting with past members and some just newly joined.
