Back by popular demand, the BMW clubs combined ride through the beauties of Spring in the vast Driftless areas of Wisconsin, Iowa and Southern Minnesota.
We’ll meet at the Craig Woods Golf Course parking lot at 9:30AM with kick stands up at 10:00AM sharp!

We’ll follow a winding, hilly back roads route up through Wisconsin’s Driftless region, cross the mighty Mississippi on the famous Lansing Bridge over into Iowa and from there meander North through the hills and bluffs of Iowa and Southern Minnesota paralleling the River and winding up at the Money Creek Campground in Houston, Minnesota.
On Saturday we’ll do a completely amazing 200-mile loop through the hardwood forests, cliffs, ravines, and soaring ridges (really) in the awakening forests of Minnesota.

On the ride up on Friday, we’ll grab a quick fast food lunch probably at a Culvers (in honor of Wisconsin, calories, salt and fat.) Friday evening we’ll have a group dinner in Rushford. Saturday morning we’ll meet in Rushford by the Post Office and head out. (Breakfast and coffee are on your own – let me suggest Norsland Lefse for authentic Scandinavian pastries and strong coffee.)
Lunch will be grabbed on the road and we’ll have a group dinner again in Rushford (Which is just over the ridge from Houston and our campground.)
Sunday, we’ll break camp and return to the Chicago region. Depending on your personal schedule you can return back through the Driftless regions, or on I-90 (which is just a few miles away) and be back in just a few hours.
You may camp under the trees Friday and Saturday, or you can reserve cabin accommodations up at the lodge at Money Creek Campgrounds. We’ll have bonfires both nights so bring your camp chair.
The 2019 ride featured perfect weather with warm sunny days and cool star filled nights. We had roughly a dozen riders and fun was had by all.
Everyone pays their own way (ie meals and camping) and chips in for the firewood and beer.
