Sight lines, body position, throttle control, do it again

Sight lines, body position, throttle control, do it again

NIBMW members spent nearly 12 hours of individualized instruction on proper cornering techniques with Total Control Motorcycle Training experts Kim Muhr and Mark Wilson recently.

Great class!  Top notch skills booster.

Class participants included those who've been riding many decades, and others who just got back on a bike in the last year or two after many years of absence.

During the step-by-step skill building day, club members applied:

  • Foot positioning
  • Body shifting
  • Locating turn points
  • The FLOP
  • Throttle control for each phase
  • Looking through the turn

Instruction include on the range, as well as practicing stationary while being held, the shifted, by classmates while sitting on the bike.

Great opportunity for everyone who took the class.  A big thank you to the Total Control team, as well as the BMW MOA Paul B Scholarship fund.
